Kent F. Bredehoeft, PE
President, CEO and Chairman of the Board
Kent Bredehoeft is responsible for the strategic, operational, financial and cultural leadership of the firm to create corporate growth, increased profitability and opportunities for employee improvement. Kent drives the corporate vision and values and provides leadership to more than 70 professionals through a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. A registered professional engineer in eight states, he has devoted his 30+ year career to the design and construction of commercial and military aviation fuel systems and to establishing industry standards for fuel facilities. His extensive resume includes fueling systems at most of North America’s busiest airports and multiple Petroleum, Oil and Lubricants (POL) projects for the U.S. Department of Defense in the United States and Middle East. Kent has contributed to several aircraft fueling master plans and strives to position Argus as the industry's trusted partner through innovation. Kent has a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri.
Steven W. Waag, PE
Board Secretary
As one of the founders of Argus Consulting nearly three decades ago, Steve has earned a reputation as a leader in innovative design, evaluation and management of aircraft fueling projects. For more than 40 years, he has specialized in aircraft fueling systems engineering, contributing to more than 200 complex piping and fluid handling systems around the world. Airline consortiums, airport operators and pipeline suppliers have trusted his counsel and technical support in the analysis, design and development of pipeline solutions and infrastructure improvements that are required to meet the growing demand for Jet-A fuel. Steve earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University. He continues to serve as an owner’s representative and quality control manager for Argus projects, as a mentor to the firm’s engineering department, and as the Secretary for the Board of Directors.
Rajan Sheth, PE
Advisor, Board of Directors
Rajan Sheth, P.E. has more than 48 years of experience in the consulting engineering and architecture business. He joined the Argus Consulting board of directors as an advisor in April 2022 after retiring from Mead & Hunt, a firm he led as CEO from 1994 to 2018 and as Chairman of the Board through 2020. Under Raj’s leadership, Mead & Hunt expanded from a local Wisconsin company to a national firm with offices in 20 states. The company’s revenues grew from $10 million in 1994 to over $191 million in 2020. The company has been consistently named as one of the fastest growing, and one of the best places to work.
Mead & Hunt is an employee-owned company with nearly 30% of employees as shareholders. He attributes the company’s success to staying highly focused on people, while pursuing smart growth organically and by acquisitions. Raj is an expert on employee ownership, strategic planning, acquisition strategies, and organization restructuring. He has also assisted several companies in CEO selection and leadership transition.
He served for several years on the Board of Trustees for the College of Engineering at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, as well as on the Dean's Industrial Advisory Board for the College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He has also held leadership positions in various professional associations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Council of Engineering Companies.
Chris M. Straub, PE
VP of Marketing and General Manager
Chris Straub has more than 25 years of experience providing fueling system consulting services across a myriad of industries. Chris serves as Vice President and General manager and leads Argus’ vertical business lines. In this capacity, Chris collaborates with Argus’ Market Segment Leaders to:
- Monitor the pulse of the industry
- Implement strategic change to ensure our service lines consistently meet the needs of our clients
- Develop and maintain Argus’ client relationships
- Oversee project execution within the markets to ensure delivery of quality work for our clients
Chris also leads Argus' Commercial Aviation Market that provides planning, design, construction, environmental and asset management services to our aviation clients. Chris has a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
Kristin Eder, PE, REM
VP of Operations
As Vice President of Operations, Kristin is responsible for developing financial organizational strategies through monitoring and analyzing financial and project performance information, evaluating productivity and resource demands, forecasting firm financial performance and industry trends, and managing the firm's operational, financial and project-related risk. Ms. Eder also serves as an ESOP Trustee.
During her 20-year career, she has served as the senior environmental engineer and project manager for aviation fueling system projects at many of the nation’s busiest airports and U.S. military bases and as the Environmental Manager for a multi-billion dollar, five-year capital development program. Kristin earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a registered professional engineer and Environmental Manager.
Dan Frank, PE, PEng
VP of Engineering
Dan Frank guides the engineering objectives that help Argus maintain its reputation as an industry leader in engineering and consulting services for aviation and transportation fueling systems and facilities. A professional mechanical engineer licensed in 21 states and three Canadian provinces, Dan has more than 28 years of fueling industry experience covering large commercial fuel storage, self-service dispensing stations, major pipeline receipt, transport unloading, refueler loading, and hydrant system distribution systems. Dan has several hobbies including flying, restoring classic sports cars, sailing, scuba diving, and DIY projects around the house. Dan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Wendee Woodson
VP of Human Resources
Wendee Woodson joined the Argus Consulting executive team in 2021 to serve as Vice President of Human Resources. Wendee is a strategic and dedicated human resource leader with 25 years of comprehensive experience leading HR and organizational development programs.
She’s enjoyed a highly-successful career attracting, developing and retaining top talent and championing award-winning cultures for engineering and financial services organizations in the Kansas City metro area. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, and has been an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management since 2001.
